In some surprising weekend news, representatives for The 404 Kitchen have announced that opening general manager and sommelier Travis Brazil has left his post at the popular Gulch restaurant.
In the brief announcement, no details regarding the move are revealed, with 404 Kitchen executive chef Matt Bolus saying that they "regret Brazil’s sudden departure but wish him well in the future," with the team 'currently working together to fill the role and make a seamless transition upon Brazil’s departure.'
Since opening in October 2013, The 404 Kitchen has earned praise for both its food and beverage, with Brazil leading the charge on the cocktail program while also curating one of the top collections of whisk(e)y in the city.
No word on what his future plans might be, but be sure to check back for any updates or new intel.
