THE GULCH - Vivek Surti's VEA Supper Club is popping up again this month in honor of its five-year anniversary. The celebratory "#ChampsDinner" will take place Sunday, May 15 at 6 p.m. at Prima. The menu features five courses plus champagne pairings, with vegetarian options available. Tickets are $150 per person. [EaterWire]

NOLENSVILLE - Mill Creek Brewing Company, a new craft brewery set to open in Nolensville, will release its full lineup of beers this weekend. On deck is the Silo Farmhouse Ale, Landmark Vintage Lager and Woodshed IPA, which will join the already released Lil Darlin' wheat beer. A 27,000 square-foot facility will house the brewery and a taproom to accommodate samples, tours, and growler fills later this summer. [The Tennessean]

MIDTOWN - Sterling Wright, a chef at Midtown's The Slider House, traveled to Georgetown University this week to donate bone marrow to an 18-year old woman in need. Six years ago, Wright signed up to be a donor and received a call recently saying he was a match. [WKRN]
