After one successful pop-up earlier this year ahead of the planned summer opening of his casual Italian spot Pastaria, St. Louis chef and restaurateur Gerard Craft is coming back for more, and he's debuting a new piece of heavy-duty equipment.
On Wednesday, May 25 from 5 to 9 p.m., Craft and his crew will be serving up their signature pizzas out of a brand new 8,000 pound mobile wood-fired pizza oven at the common area of OneC1TY's CITYBLOX in Midtown. Beers from St. Louis small batch brewery Perennial Artisan Ales will also be available.
While this is the maiden voyage for the mobile oven, Craft says that it will be used in the future for various special events in both Nashville and St. Louis.
