New Sushi Spot Coming to Thompson Lane; Former Silo Chef IN at Americano

WOODBINE -€” A new Thai and sushi restaurant is coming to the former home of Thai Star near the corner of Nolensville Pike and Thompson Lane.  Called Eastern Peak, it's a sister restaurant to Jasmine Thai Cuisine and Sushi Bar, which has locations in Murray and Paducah, Ky. MIDTOWN -€” West End restaurant and bar Americano has hired former Silo opening chef Larry Carlile as its new executive chef. The restaurant also launched its new summer menu yesterday, with some new additions from the veteran chef. [Facebook]

WEST NASHVILLE -€” TailGate Beer has added a full bar with wine and liquor, in addition to serving its own brews. It also has extended its hours, now opening seven days a week. Hours are Monday through Thursday from 3 to 10 p.m, Friday from 3 to 11 p.m, Saturday from noon to 11 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 9 p.m. [Web]
