Well that 'opening very soon' from earlier this week has quickly turned into 'opening Thursday,' as Bajo Sexto Taco Lounge is ready to throw open the doors tomorrow, starting with lunch service.
Oaxacan-born Kaelin Ulrich Trilling, head chef at Jonathan Waxman's SoBro spot Bajo Sexto Taco, is again at the helm, serving up expanded lunch and dinner menus offering a variety of options, ranging from tacos (including one featuring fried grasshoppers) to burritos, quesadillas and large family-style shared plates. Prices range from $4 to $5 per taco to $60 for the family-style taco setup, which serves six. Head below to check out the full menus.
According to The Tennessean, initial opening hours will run 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Thursday, 11:30 a.m. to 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, with the restaurant closing on Sundays for the first few weeks.
