Former Catbird Seat chef and current Strategic Hospitality culinary director Josh Habiger is back in the kitchen once again, at the helm of Bastion Restaurant, his much anticipated companion piece to the main bar that opened earlier this year in Wedgewood-Houston. Roughly 1,000 square feet in size, the space consists of a 24-seat dining room with kitchen bar and table seating, along with a separate 6-seat cocktail bar. The dining room, while well thought out, is relatively simple in design, allowing Habiger and his team's food to be the focus. So go ahead and take a look around.
