Corner Pub Midtown Says Goodbye This Thursday With 'Cinco de Bye-O' Party

It's hard to believe, but the time has already come to say farewell to Corner Pub Midtown, the popular decade-old restaurant and sports bar, as its last day of service will be this Thursday, May 5.

The restaurant's fate was learned this past February, following the purchase of the property by Vanderbilt University in September of last year. But appropriately, they plan on going out in a blaze of glory, throwing a 'Cinco de Bye-O' party this Thursday. Starting at 2 p.m., there will be drink specials galore, as all the alcohol will be priced to move, live music from Weekend Jimmy and the Easy Party and much more.

And if you can't make it on Thursday, you can stop by starting at 3 p.m. today or Wednesday to have that last drink, just in time for happy hour.
