A major SoBro apartment project has landed its first retail tenant, as Philadelphia craft beer bar and restaurant City Tap House has signed on for two spaces in Tony Giarratana's 32-story Third Avenue South and Demonbreun project.

According to The Tennessean, City Tap House, which currently has two locations in Philadelphia and one in Washington, D.C., with additional outposts planned, has leased 8,500 square feet in the ground floor, along with a 3,000 square foot year-round deck on the ninth floor. The bar program will consist of 70 beers on tap, as well as wine on tap and cocktails. Open for lunch and dinner seven days a week, with brunch on the weekends, the menu is described as 'elevated American pub fare,' offering small plates, brick oven pizzas, a signature burger, entrees and more.

Still a ways off, an opening is currently planned for January 2017.
