Five Daughters Bakery owners Isaac and Stephanie Meek are wasting no time capitalizing on the early success of their first two locations, as they now plan to bring their ice cream-stuffed and '100 Layer' doughnuts to East Nashville.
Taking over the approximately 1,100 square foot space that previously was home to Cumberland Transit, a representative for Five Daughters tells Eater that they are aiming for an August opening. All of their staple pastries will be on offer, with hours similar to those currently in effect at the 12 South location, including the expanded evening hours.
Success has come rapidly for the bakery to say the least, having sold 250,000 pastries since the first location opened in Franklin last November. An August opening for the east side outpost will mean three new locations in the span of 10 months' time.
