Tomorrow at 10 a.m., gourmet market, wine bar and restaurant Salt & Vine will officially open its doors in Sylvan Heights. And to get you fully prepped, here is a first look at the full food and beverage menus.
The trio bringing this project to life includes owner and sommelier Mattie Jackson, general manager and partner Hannah Schneider and culinary director Molly Fitzpatrick Martin. Martin, a longtime fixture in the Nashville restaurant scene, is overseeing the restaurant portion of the project. Menu offerings range from daily market boards featuring cured meats, cheeses and other items, to snacks like radish toast and fried chickpeas to larger shareable plates such as grilled trout panzanella and spiced lamb meatballs with cous cous. Desserts include a buttermilk panna cotta as well as an artisan chocolate board.
Additional pastries and breads for the market will be supplied by Sam Tucker, owner of Village Bakery and Provisions at the Nashville Farmers' Market.
On the beverage side, Jackson has crafted an interesting and wide-ranging menu featuring 25 wines offered by the glass or bottle, along with three large format wine cocktails ringing in at $45 each. A small cocktail list and selection of beers round out the alcoholic options. Caffeine junkies will have their pick of coffee from Brooklyn-based Cafe Integral, as well as local spots Steadfast Coffee and Frothy Monkey.
So check out the full menus below, and be sure to send along those first impressions if you plan on heading over there this weekend.
