DOWNTOWN - Wildhorse Saloon unveiled its $8.6 million renovation last week and opened back up to the public. Upgrades to the venue include a renovated stage and digital video screens, as well as new bar and food menus, along with digital streaming technology that will allow it to live stream concerts. THE GULCH - Justin "Cam" Cameron, currently a chef at John Besh's Restaurant August, has been announced as the head chef at The Marsh House, Besh's new restaurant project located inside The Gulch's upcoming Thompson Hotel. Besh has also tapped Nathan Duensing, formerly the executive chef at Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention center, to assume that same role at the new hotel. [Tennessean]

EAST NASHVILLE - Margot Cafe chef/owner Margot McCormack, in an interview for her restaurant's 15-year anniversary, actually pegs a time frame for the seminal East Nashville restaurant's closure: "Ten more years[.] I’m putting a 25-year stamp on it.
