SOBRO - It's now known where former 1808 Grille executive chef Jake Strang has landed, as the official announcement was made today that Strang will be running The Westin Nashville's Decker & Dyer and rooftop bar L27. He also brings with him former 1808 executive sous chef Mark Vuchovich, who will be in the same role. [EaterWire]

GERMANTOWN - Following the success of last month's first guest chef pop-up at The Band Box at First Tennessee Park, Strategic Hospitality has decided to make it a recurring event, with six more guest spots planned throughout the season. Participating chefs include Jason Brumm (July 9), Andy Little (July 28, Sept. 1), Levon Wallace (Aug. 14), Tony and Caroline Galzin (Aug. 18), and Trevor Moran (Aug. 29). [EaterWire]

HENDERSONVILLE - Popular Gallatin pizza joint Prince Street Pizza and Pub is opening a second location, taking over half of the former Piranha's Bar and Grill building. The 5,000 square foot eatery, which will seat approximately 140 and be open seven days a week, is expected to open by the first week of August. [The Tennessean]
