Funk Seoul Brother Starts Slinging Sushi Burritos in Permanent Midtown Spot This Sunday

Poke bowls, kimchi crack rice and more are on the menu

Kyle Dreier

Looks like it's a quick turnaround for Funk Seoul Brother to get its first permanent storefront up and running, as B.J. Lofback's popular food truck will soft open this Sunday in the former GoGo Sushi space in Midtown.

Over the past few weeks the 1,200-square-foot, 45-seat interior has been given a makeover, and a friends and family menu trial run looks to have taken place last night. According to the opening announcement, initial hours will be abbreviated for the first week or so, with Funk Seoul serving lunch each day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Expanded dinner hours to 9 p.m. will then go into effect.

So take a look at the opening menu below, and be sure to send any first impressions over to the tip line.
