EAST NASHVILLE – After last week’s electrical fire that forced Husk to shutter temporarily, some local restaurants are pitching in to help out Husk’s hourly employees. Two Ten Jack, Arnold’s Country Kitchen, Sinema and others are hosting a fundraiser today, with each restaurant donating five percent of its sales to Husk servers. In addition, Two Ten Jack’s servers will also donate a portion of their tips and collect donations, with patrons receiving a $10 gift card for every $20 donated. [Nashville Scene]

MIDTOWN – Beginning Monday, September 19, Midtown Café will add weekday breakfast service from 7 to 11 a.m., with limited breakfast items available until 2:30 p.m. And to kick things off, Midtown Café will donate ten percent of breakfast and lunch sales to various non-profits during the first week of service.
