Husband and wife team Ryan and Ann Bernhardt are now just ten days away from throwing the doors open to TKO, the duo’s anticipated Southern-inspired Chinese restaurant, as an opening date was announced earlier today via social media: “We passed all our inspections! We'll be grand opening Wednesday October 5th. After that we will be open Wednesday - Sunday, 6-11PM. We are so excited for you to come and eat.”

Located in a new retail center at 4204 Gallatin Pike in north Inglewood, co-owner and chef Ryan Bernhardt tells NOBLE that they plan to have a friends and family soft opening this weekend prior to next week’s grand opening. A preview food menu for the 65 to 70 seat restaurant is available on TKO’s website, with Bernhardt saying that they will be able to expand their drink offerings, which will include a small wine list, once their beer and liquor licenses are finalized.

As for their no tipping policy, Bernhardt says that “[i]t gives everyone an incentive to be busy and creates a team atmosphere and that’s really what we want. He adds that “[i]t’s coming whether people want to think about it or not and we just wanted to be ahead of it[.]”
