THE GULCH – Watermark is once again without a captain in the kitchen, as recently hired executive chef Elliot Cunniff is no longer at the helm. Regarding the move, the restaurant’s director of operations Hughes Brown gave the following statement: “Due to creative differences, Watermark has decided to part ways with chef Cunniff, effective immediately. We appreciate his work while with the restaurant and wish him the best of luck on his future endeavors.” [EaterWire]
FRANKLIN - There are some new faces at the helm of Saffire Restaurant & Bar in The Factory at Franklin, as Jennifer Masley has come on as the new managing partner and Michael Martin has assumed the roles of both general manager and executive chef.
