Nashville is getting another gaming and entertainment venue/bar combo, as Pins Mechanical Co. is planned to open in The Gulch in late 2018.

One of two existing concepts from founder Troy Allen and his Columbus, Ohio-based Rise Brands, the project is currently in the design phase, according to the Nashville Business Journal, and is slated for the former Gibson Guitar warehouse located at 1102 Grundy St., just around the corner from music venue 12th & Porter and Maneet Chauhan’s trio of restaurants.

Pins Mechanical Co., the first location of which opened in the fall of 2016 in Columbus, just opened its second location in Dublin, Ohio this week, an 18,000-square-foot complex offering shuffleboard, indoor bocce courts, 30 pinball machines, and duckpin, a version of ten-pin bowling where the balls are smaller and have no finger holes. Multiple bars and an outdoor area are also part of the space.

Both locations offer 36 beers on tap, along with cocktails, punches, and wine. Kitchen menus are not available for either location, but it appears that food trucks play a sizable roll on that front.
