Party Fowl Will Start Slinging Hot Chicken in Murfreesboro Next Week

MURFREESBORO - Just in time for the holidays, hot chicken joint Party Fowl will open its second location south of town on Dec. 26. Located at 127 SE Broad Street, the 6,200-square-foot restaurant will offer the same menu of lunch, dinner, and brunch options, and will have indoor seating for 160 guests, plus an outdoor patio with seating for up to 40. SOBRO - Casual restaurant and bar City Tap opened earlier this week downtown, serving up American pub fare and offering a full bar with 60 brews on tap. Located at 204 Third Ave. S., the 8,500-square-foot eatery, which boasts a 3,000-square-foot rooftop deck and private dining space, is currently open for dinner daily, with lunch service beginning on Dec. 28 and weekend brunch launching early next year. DOWNTOWN - Another Cincinnati import is slated to make its way to Nashville, as the Nashville Business Journal reports that The Eagle, a restaurant and bar that focuses on fried chicken and craft beer, will open in a not-yet-built project to be located at 120 Second Ave. S. Thunderdome Restaurant Group, the company behind the project, also owns SoBro tacos and tequila spot Bakersfield. The restaurant is expected to open sometime in 2019. [NBJ]
