Less than a year after opening their first brick and mortar location in Hillsboro Village, The Grilled Cheeserie owners Joseph Bogan and Crystal De Luna-Bogan have plans to head just south of town for their second melt shop.
Joseph Bogan confirms to the Nashville Business Journal that the new restaurant will be located in downtown Franklin at 334 Main St., a property owned by backer Fresh Hospitality. Several retail shops occupied the space previously, but both vacated earlier this spring to make way for the future tenant. There doesn’t appear to be a target opening other than sometime next year.
Started in 2010 as a food truck, the popularity of its gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches, soups and sides took off, with its first permanent location opening this past January.
