Things appear to be picking up speed in burger juggernaut Shake Shack’s camp, as the wildly popular restaurant filed for a Tennessee LLC last month just prior to Thanksgiving.
The filing is significant because it represents the first ‘official’ sign that restaurateur Danny Meyer absolutely intends on bringing an end to the Shake Shack drought in the great state of Tennessee. It’s also of importance because, based on the recent history of the timing of LLC filings and announcements in other Shack-blessed cities, official word should only be a month or so away.
Nashville still appears to be top priority, with sources telling Eater that a prime location in the Hill Center Green Hills development is being targeted for its first outpost.
An aggressive growth plan was recently announced for the burger chain, and it certainly looks as though Tennessee will be reaping the benefits.
