MIDTOWN - The Catbird Seat chef Ryan Poli and his brother and beverage director Matthew Poli are looking to bring guests into their creative process with ‘Tuesday Test Kitchen,’ where diners will have a chance to try dishes that could potentially make it onto future menus. Held the first Tuesday of each month from March until June (with the first dinner on March 7), 20 seats will be offered each night and will feature 5 to 6 courses at $75 per person (exclusive of beverages, tax and tip). GULCH - After following up its recent opening with Sunday brunch service, Little Octopus is now in full swing with the addition of lunch service. Offered Monday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., the midday menu is broken down between salads, bowls, sandwiches and sides, with the notable return of its popular burger. WEST END - One C1TY’s plant-based dining spot AVO has changed hands, with Annie Choo, daughter of Samurai Sushi chef/owner Yun Choo, named as the new owner. For the moment, the only impending change will be the addition of vegan sushi. [Tennessean]
