Another Nashville hot chicken restaurant is getting into the expansion game, as Party Fowl has announced plans to open a second location just east of Nashville in the Donelson neighborhood in the spring of 2018.
Located at 2620 Lebanon Pike, the restaurant and bar will be taking over the former Johnson’s Discount Furniture building, a two-story, 13,000-square-foot property situated at the Old Lebanon Road/Lebanon Pike junction. Major upgrades planned for the new outpost include two outdoor dining patios, as well as an upstairs dining area called ‘The Coop’ which will offer more of a sports bar feel. There will also be an upstairs event space, including a private patio, that will be able to hold up to 300 people. Party Fowl’s corporate offices and a commissary kitchen for both locations will also be housed there.
And unlike the current location which is primarily valet only, there will be 20 parking spots on site, with another 48 dedicated spots at 2626 Old Lebanon Road.
The menu from corporate chef Bart Pickens will remain the same as at the Gulch restaurant, offering up starters, soups, salads, larger entrees and of course his take on Nashville hot chicken. The full bar will serve craft beer, cocktails and more.
Operating owner Austin Smith says in a release that “[g]rowing up in the [Donelson] area made me appreciate what it has to offer, and when the opportunity arose to acquire this building in such a central location, I just couldn’t pass it up. I have a lot of heart and soul invested in Donelson and am very excited to bring Party Fowl to the community[.]”
Planned hours for the new location will be 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday. Brunch will be offered on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
