Work on Tànsuŏ, the anticipated new Asian-inspired restaurant from chef Maneet Chauhan and her Morph Hospitality Group, is heading down the home stretch, as a March 13 opening date has been announced.

Located at 121-B 12th Avenue North between Chauhan Ale & Masala House and another upcoming restaurant from Chauhan’s restaurant group, The Mockingbird, Tànsuŏ is led by executive chef Chris Cheung, a veteran of the New York City restaurant scene, and will feature both traditional Chinese dishes “reminiscent of China's night markets and traditional street fare,” as well as Cheung’s take on favorites such as General Tso’s Chicken and beef and broccoli. Cheung’s protege, chef Alex Sidorov, will oversee the day-to-day of the restaurant as Cheung plans on splitting his time between Nashville and New York.

Details of the space itself have been teased on social media, showing a number of unique finishes and lighting treatments. Design duties on the project are being handled by Nashville hospitality veteran London Parfitt, who also led the design for Chauhan Ale & Masala House.

So be sure to check back soon for more updates and intel as opening day draws closer.
