No word yet on what might take its place

After a 15 month run, east side bar and neighborhood hang Bar Luca will close its doors after service this Friday. The closure was announced yesterday morning via social media with the following brief statement: “3 days until we close our doors for good..... we appreciate and love all that have supported us this past year!!!! Come out to celebrate on Friday....”

Opened in November 2015 as a community-oriented wine bar and restaurant, the business was quietly sold by Abi Hewitt and the original investor group to new owners this past August. No word yet on what might replace it, so be sure to check back for updates.
