With this move also comes word that Prima opening executive chef Sal Avila recently resigned from his post, but that he plans to stay on during a brief transition period. The news sets other personnel moves in motion including current Josephine executive sous chef Steve Kolb being promoted to chef de cuisine at Prima, and Nathan Door, currently at Marsh House, taking Kolb’s place at Josephine.
And what to expect from Prima 2.0? Few details are given, but the release does promise ‘a more refined New American menu[,]’ with Little stating that he is “excited about the opportunity to create an entirely new dining experience at Prima[.]”
