A massive new beer hall is now open for business at the Opry Mills Mall, as Bavarian Bierhaus began service at the end of April.

The 15,000-square-foot, roughly 650-seat restaurant and bar, which is not related to the German Hofbräuhaus franchise but certainly shares a number of similarities, is located on the west side of the mall, serving up Bavarian beers and a kitchen menu of traditional beer hall staples.

Seven different breweries are featured on 12 taps, including Bavarian Bierhaus’s own light lager, brewed locally by Nashville Brewing Co. Chef Dennis Stukel is overseeing the kitchen, offering over 40 different items, including pretzels and starters, wursts, schnitzels, larger plates and desserts.

Hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
