It looks like Nashvillians may be able to indulge in the typically taboo tradition of eating loads of cookie dough sometime in the future, as New York City’s Dō (pronounced dough) appears to have eyes set on a potential expansion to Nashville.
A particularly sleuthy tipster clued Eater in on the recently created Instagram page for Dō Nashville, as well as the fact that a web domain, www.cookiedonashville.com, has been purchased and registered to owner Kristen Tomlan, along with a host of other city specific domains.
Tomlan opened her first brick and mortar location in NYC back in January, “serving a variety of cookie dough flavors including cake batter, sugar cookie, peanut butter snickerdoodle, and oatmeal with M&M’s — available by the scoop, in a milkshake, or as part of an ice cream sundae.” And the trick to not making customers ill? Tomlan utilizes pasteurized eggs and heat-treated flour, so you can stuff yourself silly.
