Popular Southern-meets-Mexican fast-casual restaurant Taqueria del Sol is almost ready to open the doors to its new west side outpost, as updated exterior signage now tauts Wednesday, July 5 as the official date.
Located at 4500 Charlotte Avenue, the 3,500-square-foot eatery is part of a newly-built retail project situated next to M.L. Rose Craft Beer and Burgers. Reps for the Atlanta-based restaurant tell Eater that it will have the same menu as the 12 South spot, which has seen long lines since opening in January of 2013. It will also have the same hours, which means lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, dinner from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and 5:30 to 10 p.m. on Friday, and weekend hours of 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.
This will now be Taqueria del Sol’s seventh location, with five in Georgia.
