Last October Nashville lost one of its best meat-and-threes when Bailey & Cato closed its doors in Inglewood after 16 years of business. While the closure came as a surprise to many, the door was left open for the restaurant to return, with Beth Crawford, daughter of founder Robert Bailey, telling Eater at that time that she and one of her brothers were in the process of looking for a new location.
It now appears that new beginning might not be too far off. Several sources have tipped Eater off that Bailey & Cato will be reopening in the Due West Plaza shopping center in Madison. An online search of that location, a corner spot marked as 1130 Gallatin Pike S. where construction is currently underway, reveals several websites where Bailey & Cato is tagged to that address.
Eater is working on getting more intel, so in the meantime, if you have any info or details, be sure to hit the tipline.
