Maneet Chauhan and her Morph Hospitality Group are coming down the final leg of opening up their third restaurant at the corner of 12th and Porter, as The Mockingbird is set for an August 14 reveal.

The modern diner concept, located at 121A 12th Ave. North next to Tànsuŏ, will offer a menu of ‘comfort food favorites’ from executive chef and partner Brian Riggenbach, pulling influence from Mexican, Italian, French, Korean, Japanese and other cuisines. The cocktail program will feature adult milkshakes made with product from Nashville’s Pied Piper Creamery, as well as seasonal punches and other options. Mikey Corona, also a partner in The Mockingbird, will oversee all front-of-house operations.

London Parfitt, who previously worked on Tànsuŏ and Chauhan Ale & Masala House, has again been tapped to oversee the restaurant’s design , giving the two-story space an Art Deco feel featuring dark woods, brass, stone, indoor greenery and plenty of natural light. The Mockingbird will also have two outdoor patios, a first for Chauhan’s Nashville restaurants.

Hours will be 5 to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
