Take a Look Around Maneet Chauhan’s Art Deco-Tinged Modern Diner

The Mockingbird opened this past Monday

Maneet Chauhan and her Morph Hospitality Group now have their Nashville restaurant trifecta, as The Mockingbird opened its doors this past Monday.

Located at 121A 12th Ave. North on the same block as Tànsuŏ and Chauhan Ale & Masala House, the diner concept is housed in a portion of what was previously home to nightclubs Anthem and Mai. Leading the charge once again on the interior design is London Parfitt, who previously oversaw design work for Tànsuŏ and Chauhan Ale & Masala House. The two-story space is a major departure from those two projects, offering a more modern, Art Deco feel with its dark woods, brass, stone and clean lines. Bars are centrally featured upstairs and down, along with two outdoor patios, a first for Chauhan’s Nashville restaurants.

So take a look around, and if you go, be sure to send along any first impressions to the tipline.
