Restaurateur Terry Raley Cancels Franklin Project

No more Liberty Green

Local restaurateur Terry Raley, the man behind The Pharmacy Burger Parlor, has called off his Liberty Green project in Franklin. Nashville Business Journal reports that instead of building a restaurant in Franklin, Raley will bring a similar eatery, called Liberty Common, to downtown Nashville.

Earlier this year, Raley told Eater that the Liberty Green project would be an “amalgamation of everything [he’s] done so far” and that he wants it to first and foremost be a place where people “meet up and have a lot of fun, and have some great food while they’re there, too. An everyman’s place.” Expect Liberty Common to be along the same line.

The forthcoming Raley project could open next summer. Liberty Common will be part of the 391,000-square-foot office building 222 located in SoBro.
