UPDATED (9/14/17): Pastaria has pushed its public opening date back just slightly to Tuesday, September 19. Initial hours will be 5 to 10 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 5 to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 5 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, with the restaurant closed on Monday. Additionally, all proceeds from opening night will be donated to support Southern Smoke, a fundraising event benefiting those affected by Hurricane Harvey in Houston.

(8/22/17): It’s official. After several hopeful opening time frames and nearly two years of planning, waiting and construction, the opening date for St. Louis chef and restaurateur Gerard Craft’s Pastaria, his first restaurant outside of his home base, is now set for Monday Tuesday, Sept. 18 19.

Located at 8 C1TY Blvd. in the ground floor of a newly-built office building in the OneC1TY development, Craft’s casual Italian concept, which first opened in St. Louis in 2012, will serve up a variety of pastas, pizza, soups and salads, along with Niche Food Group executive pastry chef Mathew Rice’s gelatos and creative desserts.

A representative for Craft and Pastaria tells Eater that there will be special limited, public soft openings in the week leading up to the grand opening. Eager diners can follow the restaurant’s Instagram, Twitter and Facebook pages for updates and chances to be the first to check it out. And be sure to check back for more intel as the opening gets closer.
