UPDATED (11/27/17): After a slight delay, Daddy’s Dogs opened its doors last Friday at 5205 Centennial Blvd. According to the restaurant’s Facebook page, hours of operation will be 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week.

UPDATED (11/18/17): Looks like hot dog lovers will have to wait a little while longer for the opening of Daddy’s Dogs, as they have apparently hit a little bit of “ketchup colored tape” as they finish things up. So be sure to check back for a new opening date.

UPDATED (11/11/17): The popular late night hot dog slinger is on the home stretch, announcing that its first brick and mortar location will open this Friday, Nov. 17.

(9/25/17): Nashville’s best late night street food vendor is making moves for a permanent location, as Daddy’s Dogs is headed to The Nations.

The gourmet hot dog food cart, started by owners Sean ‘Big Daddy’ Porter and Andrew St. Marie in 2015, is taking over the building at 5205 Centennial Blvd., which up until last month was home to The Old Gas Station craft beer bar. According to the Nashville Business Journal, a building permit application has been filed with Metro Nashville for the renovation of the 1,232-square-foot space.

Daddy’s Dogs has quickly made a name for itself as having one of the best hot dogs in town, serving up a straightforward menu of specialty dogs in various locations around Nashville and concentrating on late night hot spots, events and catering.
