A new watering hole on the east side is set to open its doors, as The Fox Bar & Cocktail Club will serve its first drinks to the general public tonight starting at 5 p.m.
Located at 2905B Gallatin Pike in a space tucked back off the street and accessed from behind Nicoletto’s Italian Kitchen, the 1,000-square-foot bar from owners Andrew Cook and Bryan Rushton will offer an Art Deco-inspired interior created by 1767 Designs, as well as a cocktail program from veteran barman Will Benedetto. Most recently honing his skills in New York City’s competitive bar scene, Benedetto was behind the beverage program at William Collier’s in Marathon Village prior to making the move up north in early 2016. He came back to Nashville in August to oversee the new project.
The drinks’ menu is now live on the bar’s website, featuring 14 cocktails ranging in price from $10 to $13, along with a small selection of beers, ciders, draft and sparkling wine and non-alcoholic beverages.
Planned hours are 5 p.m. to 12 a.m. Monday through Wednesday, 5 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. Thursday through Saturday, with the bar closed on Sunday.
