Five Points Pizza is slinging free slices for the fifth year in a row — and this year there’s two locations to join in on the literally-cheesy occasion. The fifth annual Free Slice Night happens today, Tuesday, Oct. 30 from 5 – 7 p.m. at the slice window of the original location in East Nashville (1012 Woodland Street) and the slice side of Five Points Pizza’s new West Nashville location at 4100 Charlotte Avenue.
Visitors who wait in line (which they promise they’ll do their best to move quickly) receive one slice of the popular pizza joint’s New York-style pie. Choose from either cheese or pepperoni, as long as supplies last. Line up early — this one’s known to draw crowds.
Since opening its doors in East Nashville in 2011, Five Points Pizza has served New York style pizza by the slice or the whole pie, stromboli, salads, addictive garlic knots, plu a wide selection of local and craft beers on draft. In 2014, Five Points Pizza expanded, adding counter service and a slice window to complement its full-service dine-in operation next door. Five Points Pizza opened a second location at 4100 Charlotte Avenue in May of 2018.
