Southern seafood restaurant Marsh House in the Gulch unveils a new daily brunch, and it’s packed with a parade of pastries, egg dishes, pancakes aplenty, and raw bar fanfare including swanky seafood towers.

Given the popularity of the brunch on weekends, the Thompson Nashville’s first floor restaurant is expanding brunch hours to Monday-Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., continuing on Saturdays and Sundays from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Executive Chef Nathan Duensing and James Beard Award-nominated semifinalist Executive Pastry Chef Lisa Marie White of QED Hospitality unveiled a brand new menu, which includes savory items like a broken yolk sandwich with belly ham and smoked onion aioli, a kale salad with apple and quinoa, and redfish en papillote with potato, pole beans, and olive tapenade. A fried Tennessee catfish is served with Creole sauce and Mississippi popcorn rice, and a Korean fried chicken sandwich adds some heat to the mix. Their popular raw bar offerings and massive seafood towers are also on the menu.

On the sweeter side, expect a parade of chef Lisa’s pastries, like croissants, chocolate babka, buttery apple crisp, and cast-iron cinnamon rolls. Can’t decide? Check out a pastry plate featuring an array of carb-crammed goodies. Salted caramel apple pancakes and bananas foster pancakes are also on the menu.

Brunch drinks range from the Mexican iced coffee with tequila, ancho reyes, coconut, and coffee liqueur to a gin-based ‘fresh start’ and regular cocktail and wine menus are also available.
