Championed Pitmaster Shane Nasby’s first restaurant, HoneyFire Barbeque Co., officially flung wide the doors last week and rolled out regular hours this week, sharing his smoky barbecued meats and sides with diners in Bellevue.
The first family-owned restaurant to open inside chain-heavy One Bellevue Place at 8127 Sawyer Brown Rd Suite 304, the space is a fresh, modern take on a standard barbecue joint.
Bellevue resident Nasby fuses regional barbecue techniques with his signature sweet heat flavor from local habanero infused honey in both liquid and dehydrated form (he also has three housemade sauces — original, spicy, and Alabama white ). All entrees, from sandwiches to trays, are served with new-fashioned, southern sides like white queso mac and cheese, Parmesan green beans, and Hoosier corn pudding. They also serve starters, desserts like a peanut butter banana pudding, plus a full bar pouring signature cocktails and adult sodas. See the full menu and an inside look at the space below.
HoneyFire Barbeque is open Monday through Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
