Take a Look Inside Hutton Hotel’s Completely Revamped Restaurant

WestEnd Kitchen & Bar debuted late last year

Following a nearly three month renovation and a rebranding, the new Hutton Hotel restaurant WestEnd Kitchen & Bar very quietly opened its doors the first week of December. Since then they have been making final tweaks and keeping things pretty low profile, but Eater Nashville recently got a look inside.

The restaurant is night and day compared to its previous incarnation as 1808 Grille. After being completely gutted, gone is the somewhat monochromatic color palette and in its place is a more modern and inviting dining room. Studio 11 Design out of Dallas, Texas handled design duties for the 118-seat space, which includes a 19-seat wraparound bar which serves both the lobby and the restaurant, as well as a private dining room.

The beige banquettes that once filled the room are no more, with the restaurant now offering a variety of seating including two, four, and six-top tables. The chunky, dark wood that previously wrapped around the center column has been replaced by sleek white tiles, and the renovated bar adds a pop of color and now feels more connected to the dining room with high-top tables in place of booths.
