Hot on the heels of its Memphis debut, Hattie B’s is breaking out of the south and making a big leap out west, taking its popular version of Nashville hot chicken way past the Mississippi River and all the way to Las Vegas.
Eater Las Vegas broke the news earlier today, detailing that Hattie B’s would be part of a new dining destination, Block 16 Urban Eatery & Bar, at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. Slated to open this fall, the Bishops’ eatery will join five other restaurant outlets, including James Beard award-winning chef Andy Ricker’s Pok Pok Wing and Ghost Donkey, a tequila and mezcal cocktail bar out of New York City.
In a statement, co-owner Nick Bishop, Jr. says that they are “excited to have this opportunity to bring authentic Nashville hot chicken to Las Vegas, a city known for its world-class dining, and we are humbled to be part of the talented culinary team The Cosmopolitan has assembled.”
The Sin City outpost will mark the seventh Hattie B’s to open, with three locations in Nashville, one in Memphis, one in Birmingham, Ala., and an Atlanta restaurant slated to open later this summer.
