Caviar & Bananas Will Close Its Only Nashville Location

The company will focus on its South Carolina locations

Caviar & Bananas will close its Nashville outpost on Friday, June 29. The gourmet market and cafe was open for just one year. The owners plan to focus on their South Carolina locations.

The announcement was made via Facebook and Instagram Monday night. “We were so grateful to meet our one year milestone last week, and while we had hoped to continue with our dreams for this amazing location, we were faced with a very difficult decision,” the owners said on social media.

The Nashville location, which combined high-end groceries with cafe fare, was the mini-chain’s only outpost outside of South Carolina. When it opened, the restaurant served an eclectic menu, ranging from breakfast burritos to duck liver pate.

Owners cited lack of sales as the reason for the closing. Read the full closure announcement below. No word yet on what might replace Caviar & Bananas.
