In October 2016, pitmaster Carey Bringle announced a $1 million addition to Peg Leg Porker, and tomorrow will be the day for barbecue fans to check out the restaurant’s new space. Peg Leg Porker added a 3,200-square-foot second floor for private events, overflow restaurant dining, and the new Pig Pen rooftop bar. The outdoor patio can hold 40-60 people and offers a full bar and a new bar snack menu.
Pitmaster Carey Bringle explained, “I have always said, if we expand, I would build up instead of adding new restaurants around the market. Peg Leg Porker has become a destination here in the Gulch. Because of our growth over the last five years, we need additional seating, a killer rooftop bar, and event space that truly reflects locally-owned Tennessee BBQ here in Nashville.”
Pig Pen opens on Thursdays, from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Fridays, 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.; and Saturdays, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Hey, did we mention, our new rooftop bar, Bringle's Pig Pen is opening this Thursday Night at 4:00. Limited bar menu, great taps and some new cocktails.
