Legendairy Milkshake Bar flung open the doors to its 4,000-square-foot sweet shop this weekend, touting the trendy and decadent milkshakes Nashville Instagram feeds have been waiting for.
The type of concept that would likely never have existed before social media became what it is today, the draws here are $13 visually arresting, brightly colored, stacked-to-the-brim milkshakes that’ll easily garner a few hundred likes. Legendairy’s shakes come in an array of flavors and are served in pint-sized mason jars adorned with waffles, cupcakes, glazed donuts, and more. Customize a shake or order one of their pre-ordained creations like “the king shake” — banana pudding ice cream with a peanut butter rim, crushed peanuts, whipped cream, a fudge and peanut butter drizzle, then crowned with Reese’s Pieces, an entire banana, and bacon.
Located downtown at 171 3rd Ave. North (next to Demos’ Restaurant), Instagram-ready Legendairy Milkshake Bar is co-owned by Christina Helton Barnett, along with some silent investors.
The over-the-top dessert emporium’s hours are Tuesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. — 11 p.m. Follow them on Instagram and Facebook for updates, as they’ve sold out over opening weekend and had to close early.
