Berry Hill snags a shiny new all-day cafe and coffee shop in Stay Golden Restaurant & Roastery, a full-service restaurant with coffee and cocktail bars that opens Tuesday, August 14.
Located at 2934 Sidco Drive, Suite 130, Stay Golden is the new caffeinated project from Jamie Cunningham, Sean Stewart and Nathanael Mehrens, the team that first opened Nashville’s popular Steadfast Coffee. Stay Golden also features an onsite coffee bean roastery, hydroponic gardens, and a private event space. The interior is a bright, pared-down aesthetic with blue accent walls, mixed patterned stools, and gold and white tables interspersed.
Owners say the goal at Stay Golden is to be “more than just a grab-and-go coffee counter.” Stay Golden will offer a menu encompassing breakfast, lunch, and happy hour supervised by Executive Chef Simoni Kigweba. Dishes range from tomato tartine and short rib hash to a roasted chicken sandwich and a house burger. Child-friendly options are found on the all-day kids’ menu. Beverage Director Nathanael Mehren oversees all things coffee- and cocktail-related, and offerings include a coffee mint julep and the “good morning” — rested espresso with creamy sweet corn milk, chili lime salt, and warming spices.

The name, Stay Golden, was inspired by the Golden Rule, with an intent to “put people first,” and eventually plan to offer educational programming as well as host industry events. With the people-first, do-good motto in mind, throughout August, Stay Golden will provide a complimentary coffee to every first-time guest in celebration of their opening. Customers can claim their free coffee in-store or online.
Stay Golden will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
