Nashville Restaurant Closure Wave Hits Bellevue

Maybe it was the curly brackets

{PUB}licity/Faceook

Sprawling Nashville suburb Bellevue has not escaped the wild west of the Nashville restaurant scene it seems, as anonymous tips revealed that family-friendly pub {PUB}licity in Bellevue will close after service this weekend, on Sunday, September 30. Multiple sources reported that the Bellevue-based pub cancelled a television segment appearance earlier this month, and another tipster confirmed that the restaurant will shutter this weekend after Sunday night service.

The pub serves locally-sourced pub fare and local microbrews. It’s located in the heart of Bellevue, at the intersection of Hwy. 70S and Old Hickory Blvd. in the Kroger Shopping Center. {PUB}licity opened back in 2012.

Eater reached out last week to the restaurant for comment, and will update with information as it’s received. No word yet on if the owners plan to open something else, or on what might replace {PUB}licity, but fingers crossed for no curly brackets next time around.
