Sylvan Park Pizzeria Calls it Quits

Plus two closures in Germantown

Sylvan Park pizza purveyor Nonna’s Pizzeria & Wine Bar closed January 1, according to owner Daniel Maggipinto. Maggipinto said the family made the decision to close after the loss of his business partner in 2018.

Located beside Caffe Nonna at 4427A Murphy Road in Sylvan Park, Nonna’s Pizzeria & Wine Bar first opened in 2012. They served wood-fired pizzas, bruschetta, salads, and pastas from the space neighboring sister restaurant and local favorite Italian food destination Caffe Nonna, which remains open.

Germantown Depot closes two of its three concepts

After denying rumors about impending closure last week, the team at Germantown Depot did in fact close two of its three concept last weekend. Taco Cantina and The Trolley have closed, but The Saloon and outdoor areas remain open.

According to the Nashville Business Journal, the Cantina and Trolley buildings will be remodeled and repurposed. The Germantown Depot complex first opened just over a year ago.
