Chef Maneet Chauhan, Vivek Deora, and Morph Hospitality Group’s newest restaurant Chaatable rolls out brunch at the vibrant, bangle-brimming space this weekend. Chaatable opened in November in the former Salt & Vine space in Sylvan Park — with Indian street food inspired by the couple’s childhoods and college years.
The brunch menu is unlike any other in Nashville, offering items like an avocado toast masala, potato-wrapped eggs, and scrambled egg bhurji. On the sweeter side, the “grate wall of India” is French toast layered with grated carrot halva and garam masala caramel. Ample vegan and gluten free-friendly options are available on the new brunch menu.
In true brunch fashion, of course there will be drinks, including a “bloody marysala” Indian take on the classic, and “sangria that singhs” with red wine, cardamom, brandy, and orange.
The brunch festivities begin tomorrow, Satuday, January 26, and will be served Saturday and Sunday, beginning January 26, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Lunch will follow soon.
