Fort Louise, the Inglewood bungalow from co-owners Jessica Bower and Greg Biggers, located at 1304 McGavock Pike, has closed. A post to Instagram early today didn’t cite a reason for the closure, but Eater Nashville has reached out for comment.
The full post is shown below, which reads, “We are sad to announce that Fort Louise has closed. We are grateful to everyone who loved and supported this project. We had a blast contributing to the Inglewood community and will miss all of you. We will miss our hashbrown waffles and the Frozen Defiance, Burger Tuesday’s, the tallow candle and all of your dogs on our back patio. Thanks for all of the fun times and good luck out there when you get #hungrylikeafort.”
Fort Louise opened in July of 2017. Bower enlisted Biggers, executive chef at Chicago restaurant Cafe de Architectes in the Sofitel Hotel, to oversee the menu creation, which they described as “a friendly spin on American comfort cuisine.”
