Locally owned fast casual favorites Hugh Baby’s and Vui’s Kitchen are the first restaurants to open today inside East Nashville’s Hunters Station redevelopment. Also open, Citizen Market, a marketplace sandwiched between the two newly opened counter-service restaurants. Citizen Market offers locally made products from food artisans at Citizen Incubator Kitchens for sale, alongside daily menu items, baked goods, coffee, beer, and wine for on-site consumption.
The Grilled Cheeserie, Tacos Aurora, and The Picnic Tap are all expected to open October 15.

Located at 975 Main Street (at the intersection of Main and South 10th Streets), the former home to Hunters Custom Automotive was purchased by Fresh Hospitality in 2016.
While parking and indoor seating seems it could be tight once the entire place opens — communal, pet-friendly friendly outdoor space offers additional shared seating for the small-scale food hall’s guests.
