Lakeside Lounge is the name of the new bar taking over East Nashville’s beloved former Edgefield Sports Bar space soon — according to hiring posts online. The new bar from the Attaboy owners appears to be opening in the near future, in the renovated space at 921 Woodland Street. An Instagram account for Lakeside Lounge shows a new NBA Jam arcade game, but not much else about the renovation or menu items to come.

The hiring post says, as promised, the new bar aims to continue to offer affordable, quality drinks and food to bar patrons. Food on offer — “bar room classics and comfort food”. Lakeside Lounge will be open late, serving food until 3 a.m.

Career industry professionals Michael McIlroy, Sam Ross and Brandon Bramhall own Lakeside Lounge - award-winning New York bar owners who launched Attaboy Nashville in 2017. This is the fourth bar for McIlroy and Ross –- after Attaboy, rated among the top five cocktail bars in the world, its offshoot Attaboy Nashville and Diamond Reef in Brooklyn.
